There’s endless content out there, videos, reels, blogs, posts, stories… you name it. But the truth is, most of it doesn’t really connect. The content that sticks with you, the kind you remember, share, or feel something about, usually comes from a real place. It’s authentic, imperfect, and human.
When I create content for brands, I always start with one question: What do you want people to feel? Because that’s where the magic happens. You can have the best visuals, the perfect captions, or a smart strategy, but if it doesn’t feel genuine, people scroll right past it.
Great content doesn’t try to impress, it tries to connect.
For me, creating content that connects is about listening first. It’s about understanding a brand’s voice, values, and the people they’re talking to. It’s storytelling with purpose, not just posting for the sake of being active.
Sometimes that means sharing behind-the-scenes moments, celebrating small wins, or showing the human side of your business. It’s about building trust and letting personality shine through, one post at a time.
